DELIGHTFUL FAMILY DWELLING

​This 2021 new build home was designed with two things primarily in mind: family functionality and casual style living. All the millwork designs we worked on with these clients provide a sense of stylish family comfort throughout the home, which is set beautifully in their rural neighborhood just outside the city.

Beautifully creative and effective cabinet storage was a must, especially in the laundry / mudroom. Laundry machines are thoughtfully tucked below deep countertops, with upper cabinet storage as well as a hanging rod for delicate items to dry. A bench seat with combination open and closed storage keeps this space looking cute and tidy. It is the homeowner's favourite room!

As it often is, the kitchen is the heart of the home for this family. We enjoyed creating a cabinet design that lovingly weaved together finish details with functional storage needs. The cabinetry accessories include: a 2 bin pull out garbage, corner pull out storage racks and roll out pantry drawers. The microwave is integrated into the pantry cabinet in order to maximize countertop space. A punch of beautiful blue on the island and wooden open shelves that match the hardwood floors tie the design together, flowing with other finishes within the home.

One of our main focus's in this project was on designing the wall-to-wall custom cabinets for the walkout basement living space. This space is a perfect opportunity to showcase décor, keepsakes and family portraits in the open shelves. Base cabinet storage below wooden countertops offer a great space to keep games tucked away. We love how this room compliments the overall feeling of calm and comfort this home provides.
